ARTWORK & DESIGN

2020 GRADUATION

On campus, I work on the Communications Team in the Department of Chemistry. With the help of my amazing co-workers I am able to produce advertisements, create slide-decks and design artwork for various projects. Below, you will see artwork from “Celebrating Student Success,” which was the virtual graduation ceremony the department held for the Class of 2020. I used Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Canva for these pieces.

WILD WISCONSIN

For J202: Introduction to Mass Media Practices, we were required to work with our lab groups to create a hypothetical app that benefitted UW–Madison students. Our group created an app called “Wild Wisconsin,” which was designed to introduce UW students to the outdoors scene in Wisconsin. We modeled the design after AirBnB’s app and all designs were created in Photoshop.

PORTRAITS

These portraits are pieces I made using Adobe Illustrator for a few of my friends. I make them in my free time, both for the enjoyment of the subject and so I can familiarize myself with Adobe programs.

AXO BOULDER

When I was approached by the marketing Chair of Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Colorado-Boulder, she was in the process of giving their Instagram page a “new look.” This included new filters, new photos, etc. She gave me complete freedom with this project in hopes to improve their engagement with their nearly 3,000 followers. All of these designs were created by me in Adobe Illustrator, but are adapted images. Thank you to the original artists, photographers and AXO for enabling me with this opportunity!
